Ms. Mary Peters

Mary has worked in the private practice optometric field for more than 20 years and is eager to help find great fit for glasses.

Mary is the Front Office Manager and Optician. Her duties include pre-testing patients, spectacle and contact lens orders, account updates and insurance. Also, Her vast knowledge of frames, lens materials and styles will help you get the best possible glasses for your needs.

Mary is happy to help you with any questions you may have about Family Eye Care Center.

Ms. Emily A. Harrington

Emily has been in the eye care field for over 20 years. She is ready to pre-test you before the eye doctor's exam.

Emily is the Technician Manager. She also has a wealth of experience in optical and appointment desk tasks as well as contact lens training.

If you have any questions about the pre-testing or exam itself, Emily will be happy to answer your questions.

Jonathan E. Micetich, OD

Dr. Micetich graduated from the Illinois College of Optometry in 1996. He worked in an Ophthalmology practice for 5 years before opening J. Micetich, OD & Associates Family Eye Care Center in 2002. He is a member of The American Optometric Association, The Illinois Optometric Association and VSP. He is also a Vision Source! doctor.

Dr. Micetich was born and raised in Coal City and resides in the area with his wife, Dr. Juli Weber Micetich and their sons, Christian and Julian. Dr. Juli is a chiropractor and has her own practice in Coal City, Weber Micetich Chiropractic Clinic.

Dr. Micetich welcomes everyone to the practice.

Ms. Jillian F. McElroy

Jill's duties include scheduling appointments, optical and contact lens training. Her knowledge of frames, lens materials and styles will help you get the best possible glasses for your needs.

Jill will help you make your appointment and help with any questions you may have.

Mrs. Kelly Olsen

Kelly has been in the eye care field for over 8 years. She is ready to pre-test you before the eye doctor's exam.

She also has a wealth of experience in appointment desk tasks.

Ms. Sarah B. Wicks

Sarah is the receptionist. She has a wealth of experience in appointment desk tasks as well as contact lens training.

Nicholas J. Rutkowski, OD

Dr. Rutkowski resides in the western suburbs with his wife, Angeli, who is a second grade teacher in the Coal City school district. His externship focus was extensively in pediatrics. With that experience, Dr. Rutkowski has implemented a Vision Therapy program at the Family Eye Care for children and adults. He likes the idea that being an optometrist not only allows him to better people's sight, but also address many systemic conditions and diseases. He enjoys outdoor activities including fishing and hiking. Dr. Rutkowski also has interests in movies, music and reading.
